    Whip Holders

    We currently offer two styles of whip holders – Cylindrical metal whip holders or Buckle on leather whip holders.

    Cylindrical whip holders are available in either brass or white metal and are suitable for attaching to any solid flat surface of your carriage, like the dash board or on the side of the body. These whip holders come with three mounting holes – two on the side and one on the bottom – available in white metal or brass, or we have ones with two mounting brackets one top and bottom – only available in brass (screws not included)

    Measurements are

    • Height of 3 bracket holder = 16cm, internal diameter = 3cm, widest point = 6.5cm
    • Height of 2 bracket holder = 19cm, internal diameter = 2.5cm, widest point =3.8cm

    Buckle on leather whip holders are suitable to buckle on to any exposed part of your carriage like grab handles on dashboards or seat rails etc. These Leather whip holders are available in either patent or plain leather with brass or white metal buckles.

    Tug Stops

    Tug stops are an essential part of the shafts, they stop the shaft from sliding through the tug on the saddle pad. We offer two standard styles of tug stops, Single stop curved ones or Straight triple headed ones. Both are available in White metal plated finish or Brass. Special order tug stops can be sourced – Please call the office on 01403730244 for more details.

    The straight triple (mushroom head) tug stops are 17cm long and 1.5cm wide and come with Pre-drilled screw holes allow easy fitting to any wooden shaft.

    The single stop curved tug stops are 15cm long and 1.5cm wide. They follow traditional lines featuring a slight curve and comes with pre-drilled fitting holes in both upper and lower portions makes for easy fit to any wooden shaft.

    Fitting screws are not included.

    Undershaft D’s

    Undershaft D’s are used as a attachment point for the  breeching loop on the underside of shafts. The total length of the fitting is 9.5cm with the top of the D height at 4cm, this comes with pre-drilled screw holes. Available in either White metal plated finish or Brass. Screws not included.

    Breeching Staples

    Breeching staples are used as a point where the breeching can be attached to your carriage, allowing for the breeching to come into use and aid your horses to hold the weight of the carriage when traveling down hill. We stock and sell two types of breeching staples, single and double ones. They are normally fitted to the outside edge of the shafts on either side of a carriage and are available in either White metal plated or brass finish.

    Single breeching staples are 8cm long in total with a pre-drilled hole on either side. The height of the staple is 1.5cm. Sold in pairs

    Double breeching staples are designed to give you two choices of breeching anchor points. Total length 15cm and each staple is 1.5cm high, features three pre-drilled holes for attachment to shafts. Sold in pairs

    Carriage number holders are a must have with any sort of carriage driving competition, Our ones are simple to attach to a seat rail on the back or most commonly on a the carriages axle if showing. These number holders are made out of flexible leather with a clear  plastic panel to view the number. The number can be put in to the holder via a touch close opening at the bottom of the holder. Holders are available in either patent or plain leather with either brass or white metal fittings .

    • Viewing window 18cm by 10.5cm
    • Overall holder size 23.5cm by 19cm

    Ordinary rein terret, easy to screw into pad. This white metal rein terret is sold individually. The overall length of the large ones including threaded part is 11cm, height of rein terret is 7cm and the internal diameter is 4.5cm. For the small rein terrets the overall length including the threaded part is 7 cm height of rein terret is 5.3cm and the internal diameter is 3cm available in either Brass or White metal.

    Central hook type saddle pad terrets are also available in either Brass or White metal.

    These quick release shackles are a MUST HAVE for all aspects of carriage driving , be it training or competition. Easy fitting to the carriage swingletree via a removable pin, with the quick release arm hooking through the ring on the end of your trace. They ensure easy and quick removal from the carriage in all situations. Sold as a pair. We do two sizes of Quick release: Small and Large.

    • Small – overall length 9.5cm by 4.8cm at widest point. point where attaches to swingletree is 1.8cm with a pin diameter of 0.7cm Ideal for shetlands and ponies
