The Bowler hat, sometimes known as a Derby or Coke is a true British classic. The Bowler hat is believed to have been originally designed for Edward Coke. He needed something to protect his head whilst out riding and the Top Hat, typically worn, kept getting knocked off from over-hanging branches. The Bowler’s popularity, which once defined civil servants and bankers has increased over the years and became a fashion statement.

Black 100%  wool felt bowler for £89 + VAT or we can offer the Christys’ luxury Black fur Felt bowler which is a stiffer hat and has more glossy appearance to the wool version as well as being lined with the classic Christys’ red satin. The Fur Felt bowler is available for £125 + VAT

These hats are available to order in sizes 55cm to 62cm other sizes can be available to order. The hat approximate measurements are 11cm Crown height and 5cm brim width.
