HAMPSHIRE BDS TREC EVENT

Hartland Carriages Latest News

TERRIFIC TREC
The sun was shining
The cones were out
The ducks were in their paddling pool
The 12 entries were raring to go
It could only mean one thing…. TREC Time!!
After a briefing by Sam Searle the Hampshire BDS AC, the contestants set off for around 7km, using their maps to navigate the course, through the farm fields as well as a short stint on the Downslink.
We had everything from single Shetlands to Heavy Horses – as well as a lovely unicorn.
All the horses behaved beautifully and the drive was thoroughly enjoyed, evident from the beaming smiles on peoples faces as they returned.
On return from the drive extra fun was added by a short obstacle course, including barrel weaving, hook-a-duck and cone squashing.
The day was finished off with tea & cake as well as rosette giving.
Thank you Sam Searle for another brilliant organised event
