Just received these pictures from Alan and Paulette Coe – Owners of Layer Marney Horsedrawn Carriages, who recently took the band Madness to the Q Awards in London, to collect their Hall of Fame Award. Alan and Paulette used their pair of piebald, trotter X half brother pair of horses, Trottie and Billy to their Hartland High Seat Trainer. This was the pairs biggest job to date taking the band across Camden Town to the Roundhouse,the band wore the outfits from their new album cover, “You Can’t Touch Us Now “. As well as the Their coloured horses Alan and Paulette have a pair of Friesian X’s and a pair of white Connemara’s which are all used for wedding work – although they say that the Piebalds seem to be the most popular at the moment.
